Dr. Scott Bakos
Dr. Bakos attended Case University for his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He stayed at Case to complete his dental degree. He moved to Florida in 1983 and has been practicing comprehensive dentistry here since then. Dr. Bakos began changing his patients’ lives by placing and restoring implants in 1987.
In June of 2008, he and Dr. Kuhn opened Horizon One Dental. The new, modern office allowed the dentists to offer patients the latest advancements in dental procedures, while also providing a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
Dr. Bakos makes continuing education a priority to improve his skills and stay current with new innovations in dentistry. Implants, Lumineers®, non-surgical gum disease treatment, and cosmetic dentistry are just a few of the advanced treatment options he provides at Horizon One Dental.
On a personal level, Dr. Bakos enjoys spending time at home with his family, which includes his wife and five children. His non-medical interests include golfing, fishing, and other sports. He currently lives on Sanibel Island, where he enjoys the island lifestyle.
