Deanna’s passion has always been teeth and she always knew that she wanted to have a career that involved helping others. Teeth make her smile and she wants others to smile too. Deanna started her dental career working as a dental assistant. She then attended the Hygiene School at Edison State College and graduated with honors in 2014. She was presented with the professionalism award in her class for exhibiting ethical and professional behavior, leadership, and a commitment to the practice of dental hygiene and its code of ethics.
As a dental hygiene professional, she likes to start each appointment by establishing a rapport with her patients in order to provide them with the best treatment. Each patient will be treated like family and will experience a gentle cleaning. Deanna advocates good oral hygiene by combining her skills as an educator and clinician to increase the patient’s knowledge of oral health with visuals and demonstrations. She is certified to give local anesthesia and enjoys providing the best quality service.
As a native to Southwest Florida, she is constantly outdoors and staying active. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, swimming, and visiting the beautiful beaches Florida has to offer. Family is important to her, so she makes it a priority to spend time with her big family and her adorable cat, Chanel. She loves traveling the U.S. from the depths of the Grand Canyon to the Big Apple, New York City.
It is her privilege and duty as a hygienist to inform and recommend the best treatment available.
